Manifest Presents: Drawing Marathon

June 12th, 2012  |  Published in Announcements

Saturday and Sunday, June 30th and July 1st
12 total hours of uninstructed open life drawing with the live model (equivalent to 6 weeks of one of our regular open figure sessions!)
Register here:

This special offering is generally intended for longer more extended poses, and to give professionals, students, and novices a chance to access the model in a condensed time period. Participants are welcome to work in various media besides drawing. Participants are also welcome to come and go during the scheduled time frame, accessing the model and our space at their convenience throughout the weekend.

Manifest’s Drawing Marathons are offered only about four times each year. They’re a warm and friendly environment for anyone interested in drawing from the live model to explore the practice, share insights, and have a good time just putting pencil to paper. Many people use our life drawing sessions to reconnect to a lost passion for creativity.

This is NOT just for advanced life-drawers… It’s for anyone who wants to practice drawing from the live model in a friendly and comfortable studio, with like-minded and generally happy people.
