“Firmament”

Tim’s statement:

“And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and morning were the second day.” (Genesis 1:7-8)

These prints are platinum/palladium at base with from 1-4 coats of gum bichromate overlying the base print. All processes are hand coated and of the highest permanence. Each print is unique- while I may reprint a given image, no two can be identical.

Tim is a self-taught photographer with much input from many photographer friends. He began exploring this medium 37 years ago when his wife gave him his first camera. He has explored many formats and modes of photographic expression, but favors platinum/palladium printing as his modality of choice. Tim has dabbled in many types of photography and considers himself a generalist though he favors forms of landscape photography most.
