Kathy Stockman

Kathy Stockman is an art historian, writer, and critic living in Cincinnati. She received degrees in art history from the University of Kansas and the University of Chicago where she studied Contemporary Latin American and Latino Art History and Critical Race and Identity Theory. She taught art history at various colleges and universities in Ohio including Miami University and the Art Academy of Cincinnati. She has published and presented scholarly papers as well as written an art column for The Morning Journal, a newspaper in NE Ohio. Currently, as founder of Cincinnati Art Snob she designs and presents tours of art throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Kathy Stockman believes an intellectually engaging discussion on art and culture can and should take place outside of the classroom and she invites participants to her blog for this discussion.
