CONSULT-A-CURATOR

Ever wanted to be on Antiques Roadshow? Have a piece stored away in your basement or attic that you would like to know more about? Now is your chance to have a work of art examined by an experienced and knowledgeable curator from the Cincinnati Art Museum! Our biannual Consult-a-Curator is for MEMBERS ONLY and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Like Antiques Roadshow, this event has been very well attended and people get here early to get a good spot in line.

Curators will be on hand to survey and evaluate works of art including paintings, sculpture and drawings, as well as decorative arts and design, fashion arts and textiles, and prints on Tuesday, November 13 from 4-6pm in the Castellini Foundation Room, Fath Auditorium, and Fifth Third Lecture Hall. Curators will offer informed opinions about your object, such as maker, age, and medium, however they are unable to provide monetary appraisals. Conservators will also be available to suggest care and repair of your works of art.
