The beautiful and vibrant city of Thessaloniki will be transformed into a mega- laboratory of contemporary art, with works signed by artists from all over the world for four months, from September 18, 2013 until January 31, 2014, during the 4th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art.
The organization aims to attract the art lovers’ interest in Greece and abroad, strengthening the position that Thessaloniki claims in recent years on the international map of contemporary art. And it seeks to achieve it by proposing to the public a multi-faceted program with international appeal, including: Exhibitions, art events in museums and monuments, art installations, performances, screenings, workshops, symposium, interventions in public space, educational programs, and guided tours. Admission to all venues of the 4th Thessaloniki Biennale is free.
