David Rosenthal
David Rosenthal taught Photography in the School of Fine Art at the University of Cincinnati from 2003 to 2010. He currently teaches photography at Northern Kentucky University. His teaching experience ranges from introductory level conventional and digital film courses to graduate level courses. He took on photography as a second profession after receiving a law degree and practicing products liability law for several years. His work consists of distinct series of conceptually driven projects which consist of a hybrid of film and digital processes, mixed media and creative writing. He also runs a gallery and community photography program in Cincinnati called Prairie. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions including shows at Soho Photo Gallery in New York, The Weston Art Gallery in Cincinnati and The Riffe Gallery in Columbus. He is a graduate of Cornell University, BA., 1987, Indiana University, JD, 1991 and the University of Cincinnati, MFA, 2002.
