Oakley, OH – Brazee Street Studios’ gallery One One has opened its annual call for entry for MULTIPLICITY/HANG IT UP. MULTIPLICITY is a group show centered on the idea of art in multiples or a series. HANG IT UP will feature and sell unique ornaments in a separate room. Small objects, crafts and objects of all kinds in any medium are encouraged. Pieces featured in HANG IT UP must hang in some way.
Artist submissions for MULTIPLICITY/HANG IT UP should include a brief artist statement, $30 submission fee, an indication of which section the pieces are intended for and 3-5 images submitted as jpgs smaller than 1000 pixels in any direction. There is no limit to the number of works that may be submitted. Submissions may be sent via email to leah@brazeestreetstudios.com or mailed to Brazee Street Studios on CD. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of jurors, with notifications being mailed on October 14th.
All entries must be postmarked by October 7, 2013. MULTIPLICITY/HANG IT UP will open in gallery One One with a reception on November 8, 2013 with a second reception on December 13, 2013. The exhibition will be on display through January 3, 2014.
