After drawing 830,000 visitors last year, Roppongi Art Night 2014, an all-night extravaganza presenting art exhibitions and performances throughout central Tokyo’s iconic Roppongi entertainment district, is gearing up to welcome another huge crowd of joyous spectators between 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19 and 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, 2014.

This fifth edition of the festival-like mega event, themed “Move Your Body!,” will demonstrate art’s infinite capacity to move the human mind and body by offering a rich variety of art and culture presented non-stop at diverse locations throughout Tokyo’s Roppongi neighborhood. Venues will include streets, parks, shops, restaurants and cafes, museums, the Grand Hyatt Tokyo and Ritz-Carlton Tokyo hotels, and many other sites.

The number of contemporary artists participating from Japan and other countries at Roppongi Art Night 2014 will be more than ever before. International artists will include social-identity performer Lee Wen from Singapore.
